The motto of the National
Honor Society "Noblesse Oblige" expresses the desire of serving one another and the community. The NHS Executive Board
strives to offer their members many opportunities for active participation and service. An active member should have
little difficulty meeting his or her service hour requirements.
There are three major branches under which service projects fall:
school, community, and seasonal. School projects are designed to serve the school and enhance student life. Community projects
are generalized activities that allow students to volunteer in their neighborhoods, helping a variety of people and causes.
Seasonal activities are short-term activities that raise money, goods, or awareness.
